About

PocketLap started as a group chat where a few of us kept throwing links at each other: try this one, skip that one, this one eats your battery. At some point it made more sense to write it all down in one place, so here we are.,We only cover games we've actually installed and played. No press kits copied word for word, no scores handed out before the download finishes. If a game bores us after ten minutes, we say so, and we explain why.,Picking what to review is pretty simple. We watch the stores, listen to readers, and grab anything that looks interesting in racing, arcade, and nearby genres. Then at least two of us put real hours into it before anything gets published.,The site is independent. Nobody pays us to like their game, and we don't sell anything. It's just people who like phones full of games telling other people what's worth their time.

Daniel Ferreira — Daniel has been tinkering with phones and handheld games since the flip-phone days and now leads the PocketLap reviews. He mostly covers racing and arcade titles but will play anything with a good control scheme.
