Casinacho Games
Casinacho Games is really a bundle of small arcade challenges stitched together by a cheerful menu screen. You tap in, pick a mode, and you're playing within seconds. Some rounds ask you to time a tap, others want you to steer a little shape through a gap, and a couple are reflex tests that get faster the longer you survive. None of them overstay their welcome.
Controls are the strong point. Everything works with one thumb, and the game is generous with hit windows so you rarely feel cheated. We liked that losing a round sends you straight back in without a loading wall. On a phone you pick up for two minutes at a time, that matters more than fancy graphics.
After a few days we found ourselves returning to the same three or four modes and ignoring the rest, which is probably the one soft spot. There's a lot here, but the quality is uneven. Still, the best modes are genuinely fun, and the whole thing runs smoothly even on an older device.
