Lantern Trails

Lantern Trails is a slow, warm adventure with almost no failure states. You wander a valley, solve light environmental puzzles, and light lanterns that slowly bring color back to the world. It's the kind of game that calms you down rather than winding you up.

There's no timer and no combat, which won't suit everyone, but the sense of place is wonderful. Paths curve in ways that invite you to poke around, and the small bits of story you find along the way feel earned rather than forced.

We finished it in a couple of relaxed sittings and immediately missed it. If you want something to unwind with before bed, this is an easy recommendation.
